Nintendo DS non oem Pokemon HeartGold video game cartridge. Game cartridge comes with a plastic protective case just like the picture shows.
Pokemon HeartGold Version is an enhanced remake of the classic 1999 Game Boy Color title, Pokemon Gold. It returns players to the Johto region with significantly upgraded graphics, sound, and touch-screen functionality.
Core Gameplay & Story
- Journey to Mastery: Players begin as a rookie Pokémon Trainer in New Bark Town, choosing between Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile to embark on a quest to defeat the eight Gym Leaders of Johto and challenge the Elite Four.
- Dual-Region Adventure: After completing the Johto league, players can travel to the Kanto region to earn eight additional badges and ultimately face the ultimate challenge: a battle against Red atop Mt. Silver.
- The Team Rocket Threat: Throughout the journey, players must thwart the plans of Team Rocket, who are attempting to regroup and contact their former leader, Giovanni.
New & Enhanced Features
- Pokémon Following: In a feature inspired by Pokémon Yellow, any Pokémon at the head of your party can follow you outside of its Poké Ball, allowing you to interact with them and check their mood.
- Pokéwalker Accessory: The game was originally bundled with a specialized pedometer that allows players to transfer a Pokémon via infrared to earn experience points and "Watts" while walking in the real world.
- Pokéathlon: A new facility where Pokémon compete in 10 different touch-screen-based mini-games, such as hurdling and snowthrow, to earn rewards.
- Legendary Encounters: Beyond the mascot Ho-Oh, players can track down legendary beasts Raikou, Entei, and Suicune, as well as several other legendary Pokémon from the first four generations.
- Technical Improvements: The game features a streamlined menu system that lives on the touch screen, allowing quick access to the Pokédex, Bag, and Pokémon team.
